Organizational members consist of any disciplinary entity to which the court of last resort of a United States jurisdiction has delegated authority either to decide lawyer disciplinary matters or to hear evidence and make recommendations for the decision of lawyer disciplinary matters. Any person who currently serves as a member or on the staff of a Disciplinary Board as above defined has the right to participate in the annual meeting of NCLDB, Inc. as well as the right to serve as an officer or director of the board or as a chair of a committee.

Associate members consist of any persons who has ceased to be a member of or on the staff of a Disciplinary Board. Associate members are not eligible to serve as directors, officers or chairs of standing committees or to vote, but they otherwise have all of the rights and privileges of membership.
